In the Big Picture model, our end goal is to see a church growing in maturity as it thrives on its own and able to reproduce itself. This model has been developed over many years of trial and error with Ethnos360 (formerly New Tribes) church planters and has been proven to be the most effective method of planting a thriving and maturing church amongst the unreached/least-reached indigenous people groups.

The Mature Church Model is intended to be; -a sketch of a healthy, growing and maturing church. -a catalog of the core elements which are consistently present in healthy churches. -a description of the process by which those elements begin and are sustained. -some reflections on the kind of people God uses as catalysts for those elements. -a summary of the work those people need to accomplish (specifically for contexts in which church planting is initiated in a people group with minimal previous exposure to Truth). -a description of something finished, or mature, which will inform the discussion of how to go about seeing it produced.
