About

It all started when…

We, Tim and Ji, met in the year 2012 at the Joshua Wilderness Institute, an 11 month discipleship program located at Hume Lake, CA. We began dating the following year and as our relationship grew, it became more and more evident that our intention in life would be to invest our lives into unreached peoples, those with little to no access to the gospel of Christ.

But how can they call on him to save them unless they believe in him? And how can they believe in him if they have never heard about him? And how can they hear about him unless someone tells them?
— Romans 10:14

After getting married in 2015, we set our aim to attend the Ethnos360 Bible Institute as quickly as possible. During the time of preparing for school, we had our firstborn son Nehemiah Scott Cavanaugh in August 2016. In August 2017, we were finally ready to embark on our first big family transition, moving to the Ethnos360 Bible Institute in Jackson, MI. While we were there, in June 2018, we had our second son, Dakota Jones. We had an amazing experience living and learning in Jackson, MI. EBI was truly a terrific two years of sweet fellowship with God, as He grew us and challenged us in so many ways. After two years of bible school, we were then qualified to attend the two-year Ethnos360 Training. Ethnos360 Training is a place where we received specific training for Church planting in the context of unreached peoples. We have just completed Ethnos360 Training and have recently become official Ethnos360 Members! We are currently in the process of Partnership Development. Finding people who are willing to partner with us as we together partner with God in fulfilling the great commission.
